Inspired by the dynamic world of sports climbing, the Grip Hanger reimagines the traditional clothes hanger and rack by incorporating the gripping techniques and aesthetics of climbing holds. Observing climbers navigate diverse holds on artificial walls—such as jugs, crimps, and pockets—I noticed a striking resemblance between their hand grips and the structure of hangers on a clothes rack. This sparked the idea to design a functional yet creative storage solution that blends the tactile essence of climbing with everyday utility.
